About Us

Ken Scarlett is the owner/manager of ArboristNZ, he starting his career working as a National Trust (UK) forester in the early 2000s before becoming a qualified arborist at the prestigious Merrist Wood college in 2007. 

Now with a wealth of experience Ken worked for various arboricultural contractors and consultants before moving to NZ in 2017. Here Ken worked alongside Higgins, NZTA, Watercare, Waikato District Council, Auckland Council and more, building the ArboristNZ  business. 

Ken is passionate about arboriculture; he can give you quality advice to maintain your trees.

Provide arboricultural plans and reports for all tree issues, planning and risk. 

ArboristNZ are qualified Prince2 Project Managers.  We work with a network of locally owned arborist contractors.  Giving you the most efficient and tailored tree work service. We also provide works arborist root zone monitoring and mitigation works.
